Çimtaş A.Ş. While he was working as a Warehouse Clerk in he had the opportunity to get to know the materials used in the steel construction industry (Profiles, Bolts, Welding Materials, Pressure Vessel Nozzles and Equipment, Wind Tower Equipment, Cutting Tools) learn meanings and material definitions. He also tried to contribute by making suggestions on stock management and counting.
Çimtaş A.Ş. After working as a Warehouse Clerk for approximately 1.5 years, he transferred to the Project and Work Preparation (Method Engineering) department as a support team for the preparation of marking template drawings.
Çimtaş A.Ş - Work Preparation Technician: 04/2007 – 08/2011
After quickly adapting to drawing marking templates in the Project and Work Preparation department, he was promoted to the job of Work Preparation Technician to prepare CNC programs for profile holes, prepare cutting plans, bending details, etc.
During this process, the following important and major projects, He was responsible for entering material lists into the ERP system, preparing profile cutting plans and CNC hole programs, preparing plate cutting plans, preparing Fit-Up details, preparing Profile/Plate Joint details, preparing Profile/Plate bending details and preparing material transferring lists.

4- Yajva Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant, 2010, 3.200 t
5- Makkah Clock Tower, 2011, 601 m, 14,500 t
The Project and Work Preparation Department has also made many suggestions and improvement studies in the ongoing processes of the above-mentioned projects, and some of the improvement studies it has contributed to are as follows.
1- In Compass ERP system; Providing suggestions and solution methods for the immediate entry of the remaining raw materials into the stock immediately after the work orders are created.
2- In Compass ERP system; Providing suggestions and solution methods to prevent differences in the recorded raw material tonnages after deleting the positions canceled as a result of the revision.
3- Presenting the suggestion and solution method that allows the material list in the assembly drawings that come as AutoCAD drawings to be entered into the Compass ERP system as a list.
4- Development of converter software for ESSI codes of cutting plans prepared for CNC Flame cutting machines (Omnimat, Plasma).
5- Ensure that the joints consisting of thick plates in the Makkah Clock Tower project are installed without errors and in the correct order Method Statements have been created to. For this process, the assemblies were remodeled in 3D on AutoCAD and the same weld grooving were opened and the document consisting of 3D images was shared.
Çimtaş A.Ş - Senior Structural Steel Technician: 08/2011 – 02/2023
In 2011, when Çimtaş Engineering department decided to move from Istanbul to Çimtaş Steel plant, the Project and Work Preparation department attended Tekla Structures training with the reference of their managers. After the training, he continued to learn and improve himself by do model working on Tekla Structures for his personal development.
In 2011, with the relocation of the Engineering department to the Çimtaş Steel plant in Gemlik, he joined the team from the Project and Work Preparation department to the Engineering department to support the Muscat International Airport project.
In the Muscat airport project, Double Curvature beams were first modeled in AutoCAD under the guidance of expert engineers, and then they were modeled to create expansions in the Tekla Structures program. In the Engineering Department, where he transferred as support during this process, he continued as a Structural Steel Technician until 2023 and was promoted to the Senior Structural Steel position in 2023.
While working as a Structural Steel Technician, he took part in the processes of creating 3D models and drawings for manufacturing of the following large and important projects with the Tekla Structures program.
1- Oman/Muscat International Airport, 2013, 32,000 t
2- Besmaya Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant, 2016, 10,000 t
3- Osmangazi Bridge, 2016, 52,000 t
4- Russia / Kashirskaya Plaza, 2017, 5.500 t
5- Modeling of Rotor and Stator parts modeling of Enercon Wind Towers and creating fabrication and machining drawings.
6- Modeling of the GE Gas Turbine Exhaust Frame parts modeling and creating fabrication and machining drawings
7- External and Platform Parts of TCO Pressure Vessels, (3 Pieces) 2018-2019, L=83m - 623 t, L=53m - 347 t and L=55m – 372 t

He never stopped improving himself in the ongoing processes of the above projects and developed the following software with the software training and support he received.
1- Software that converts the artificial profile list consisting of plates such as Box, Pipe and I profile into a plate list and creates its dxf.
2- Software that creates a G-code CNC program with the data it receives through the API developed for the Tekla Structures program.
3- Software that creates the Wind Tower body plate with the nozzles inside and draws it in AutoCAD.
4- With the API developed for Tekla Structures program, pressure vessels; Software that automatically models equipment such as Platform, Pipe Support etc.
5- Software that provides convenience in Tekla Structures' model and drawing modules.
6- In the Çanakkale Bridge project, development of software that stretches and extends the expected shrinkage amounts after welding according to the reference model.
7- Software including Desktop Applications.
8- He made significant contributions to the project processes with many Custom Components developed within Tekla Structures.
He would like to express his gratitude to the valuable managers and teammates of the Engineering, Method Engineering, Manufacturing, Pre-Manufacturing and Project Coordination departments for their guidance and support in this career journey that he started as a warehouse clerk, and to the valuable managers of Çimtaş A.Ş. for giving him the opportunity to embark on this journey in the first place.
